Community Programs

We offer a variety of services to adult residents of Banner Lake including programs on nutrition, healthcare, financial planning and tax preparation, computer literacy, career planning and job search assistance, in addition to transportation and physical fitness.

Community Cafe

Established in 2013, and located at our new Community Center, our Community Café and weekly soup kitchen provides hot meals on Friday evenings from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. (take out only until further notice). Under the supervision of a credentialed kitchen manager, our volunteer staff shops, prepares, cooks, and serves the food all free of charge to our diners. The Banner Lake Café is supported by Treasure Coast Food Bank, House of Hope, and other private donors and grants.

Senior Meal Program

The Senior Meal Program provides free, hot meals to qualifying seniors who are ages 60 and over, every weekday, through a partnership with the Kane Center and the Meals on Wheels Program.  Meals are prepared and packaged through the Kane Center and delivered to eligible residents.

Community Outreach

Banner Lake Club hosts many community events to celebrate the holidays throughout the year including Easter, Thanksgiving Feast, and Christmas Events. In partnership with Natives Helping Natives, our Santa is Coming to Town event provides Christmas gifts to needy families. Additionally, our annual Back to School event provides backpack and school supply giveaways to local students, and our annual Family Day Dinner serves up a wonderful family meal to many in our community in partnership with House of Hope.
